1. Houston- Coogs got revenge on UCLA with a shootout victory in Houston
2. Southern Miss- Golden Eagles get close win in a rain drenched game.
3. Central Florida- Knights get their biggest home game of the year against Boston College this week
4. East Carolina- Pirates gave Gamecocks a scare. Can they do the same against VT?
5. Tulsa- No shame in losing to Oklahoma in week 1
6. SMU- Game against A&M was close at first, but Aggies too much in the end
7. UTEP- Miners struggled with Stony Brook
8. Marshall- Game with WVU ends early due to stroms in Morgantown
9. UAB- Blazers open with at Florida this week
10. Tulane- Defense looks shaky after 47-33 win in opener
11. Rice- Owls play host to Big 10 Purdue this week
12. Memphis- Tigers looked horrible against a top 20 MSU team

Purdue 35 Rice 28- Purdue nearly lost last week to Middle Tennessee. Expect another close game in Houston

Southern Miss 28 Marshall 21- Both teams are hoping for much better weather this weekend

Tulsa 35 Tulane 21- Tulsa's G.J. Kinne will have a 300+ passing day against a weak Tulane defense

Virginia Tech 38 East Carolina 21- Tech picks up a road win in a rowdy atmosphere in Greenville

Houston 52 North Texas 17- This will be the first game at North Texas' new stadium

Arkansas State 28 Memphis 24- These two border rivals have met 54 times with Memphis leading 27-22-5

Florida 45 UAB 10- A warmup game for Florida as they await Tennessee next week

SMU 45 UTEP 28- The Mustangs start CUSA play 1-0

Boston College 24 Central Florida 17- The Eagles will walkout of this game with a hard fought victory
