Dixiefriedsports LLC was established in June of 2008.  Since then our website has gone from just a few views by some friends to being featured by many radio stations, newspapers, and even nightly news reports.  

Co-owners

Matt Barber- Matt is a 2002 graduate of Newberry College where he earned a B.S. in business administration with a minor in History. In the years 2008, 2009, and 2010 Matt provided the play by play for the South Carolina High School League's Weekend of Champions for football, basketball, and wrestling at division 1 facilities like Williams Brice Stadium, Clemson's Memorial Stadium, and Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.  Matt is the "voice" for the Chapin High School Eagles.  Matt has had articles featured in a few newspapers including The State,  Arkansas Democrat Gazette, Birmingham News, Des Moines Press Register, Dothan Eagle, and the Tulsa World.  Matt has been a guest radio stations in Tennessee, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Arkansas.  Weekly you can hear Matt on "The Sports Animals" with Shawn Arnell and Wally Hall throughout the State of Arkansas at 6:30 EST on Tuesdays

Justin Cannon- Justin is a former high school football coach who has a passion for the college and high school game.  Justin received his B.A. in History from Newberry College in 2000.  Using his previous coaching history, Justin has provided color commentary for the South Carolina Weekend of Champion's in football.  He is also the color commentator and historian for Chapin High School Football.  Justin has seen writings in The State Newspaper and has been featured on several radio stations in the Southeast.
