SEC Week 6 Preview

Ranking the SEC

1. Alabama- Bama has not whipped 2 straight top 20 teams. They are the nation's top team

2. LSU- LSU is a very close 2nd behind Bama. We'll find out in a few weeks who truly is better

3. Arkansas- Tyler Wilson proved Saturday that he is a big time college football QB

4. Auburn- Auburn knows how to win close games. This talented, but young group certainly is dangerous

5. Florida- With Brantley Florida might be a top 4 SEC team, without them they aren't going to win many games

6. South Carolina- If Garcia were just average this would be a top 10 team without a doubt

7. Georgia- Richt is starting to get things together with this young group of Dawgs

8. Tennessee- Vols have little trouble with Buffalo

9. Mississippi State- Definitely a dissapointing year so far in 2011

10. Vanderbilt- Dores had a week off to prepare to get stomped by Bama

11. Ole Miss- Rebels get a nice win over a mediocre Fresno State team

12. Kentucky- UK football is back to where it was prior to Rich Brooks and Cats fans have The Joker to blame

Week 6 Predictions(Last week 6-1 overall 37-8)

South Carolina 27 Kentucky 6- Gamecocks defense is to good and UK's offense is horrible

Arkansas 35 Auburn 24- Petrino is 2-1(1 win over Tulsa) against Malzahn's offense, he's also 2-1 against Auburn

Alabama 42 Vanderbilt 7- Vandy has had 2 weeks to prepare, but it won't matter

LSU 31 Florida 10- Without Brantley the Gators don't stand a chance in Baton Rouge

Mississippi State 35 UAB 13- SEC teams shouldn't play at UAB, but MSU will at least pick up a road win

Georgia 24 Tennessee 20- This will be the game of the week in the SEC with the Dawgs getting a late TD to win.

Best and Worst of Week 5

Best player- Tyler Wilson of Arkansas who set a school record with 510 yards passing

Worst player- Stephen Garcia of South Carolina. At least Garcia won't be on next week's list since he's been benched in favor of Connor Shaw

Best game- Arkansas' comeback win over Texas A&M

Worst game- LSU's blowout of Kentucky

Best decision- Auburn allowing it's most talented player Michael Dyer to carry the team with 41 carries.

Worst decision- Auburn opposing South Carolina's Wounder Warrior Uniforms
