2. Louisiana- This week's game against Troy might be the biggest since the 96 A&M game

3. FIU- Panthers in a slump after a home loss to Duke

4. Arkansas State- Aplin had 396 yds passing against WKU last week

5. ULM- The brutal opening schedule is over, look for ULM to make a charge soon

6. North Texas- Despite loss to Tulsa, the improvement with this program has shown the last two weeks

7. Middle Tennesse- Blue Raiders get Thursday Night home game on ESPNU to showcase program

8. Western Kentucky- Rainey averaging over 100 yards a game once again

9. Florida Atlantic- Owls have their 5th straight road game this week

Middle Tennessee 28 Western Kentucky 21- Blue Raiders get close win, but Rainey has another big game

North Texas 31 Florida Atlantic 17- FAU opens season 0-5 prior to the opening of their new stadium

Troy 28 Louisiana 24- This game could decide the Sun Belt Championship. Certain bowl implications with this game

FIU 27 Akron 17- Panthers get back on track with road win as SBC continues to dominate the MAC

ULM 24 Arkansas State 21- The winner of this game needs to get ready to host some bowl reps in the coming weeks
