1. Troy- As usual the Trojans are on top

2. ULM- Look for ULM to go bowling in 2011

3. FIU- T.Y. Hill is the SBC's most exciting player

4. Arkansas State- Let the Hugh Freeze Era begin

5. Middle Tennessee- Can the Blue Raiders make 3 bowls in a row?

6. North Texas- A bright future is ahead for McCarney, but the Mean Green will struggle in 2011

7. Florida Atlantic- Schellenberger will be missed after 2011

8. Louisiana- Hudspeth was a solid hire for UL

9. Western Kentucky- Can the Hilltoppers start a move up in the SBC standings?

Week 1 Predictions

Clemson 38 Troy 24- Trojans will play the Tigers tough, but talent will depth will take over in the end

FIU 28 North Texas 17- Panthers start SBC play 1-0 with a home win over North Texas

Florida State 49 ULM 7- This is an improved ULM team, but FSU is a legit BCS Contender

Purdue 35 Middle Tennessee 13- Blue Raiders nearly upset Big 10 team Minnesota last year, this game won't be as close

Illinois 42 Arkansas State 10- Game 1 for Hugh Freeze won't be a memorable one

Florida 42 Florida Atlantic 7- Florida is the first in a brutal 3 game road trip for FAU to start the year.

Kentucky 49 Western Kentucky 6- Two teams from Kentucky playing in Tennessee. That makes plenty of sense.
