Ranking the ACC

1. Clemson- Tigers are first ACC team to win 3 straight games over top 20 teams

2. Virginia Tech- Hokies suffer a rare home loss in ACC Play

3. Florida State- Week off to prepare for Wake Forest

4. Georgia Tech- Jackets are 5-0 for the first time since 1990 National Championship season

5. North Carolina- Not much of a problem in win over East Carolina

6. Wake Forest- Deacons are an overtime loss away from being undefeated

7. Maryland- Offense hasn't been impressive the last two weeks

8. Miami- Hurricanes actually trailed Bethune Cookman late in the 1st

9. Virginia- Cavaliers needed overtime to beat Idaho

10. NC State- The defense continues to struggle for the Wolfpack

11. Duke- Duke has the week off after beating FIU on the road

12. Boston College- Eagles get a tough road game to Death Valley

Week 6 Predictions

Clemson 45 Boston College 17- Eagles have won 3 of the last 5 in series, but this is a different Tiger team

Florida State 31 Wake Forest 20- With 2 weeks to prepare the Seminoles will be able to pick up the ACC road win

NC State 42 Central Michigan 28- The defense will allow some points, but the offense will score enough for the win

Georgia Tech 49 Maryland 20- Maryland is only 1-8 in its last 9 trips to Atlanta

Virginia Tech 21 Miami 13- Last year's game was close until Miami turned the ball over several times in the 4th. This year's game will again be close and Tech's defense will win in the end

North Carolina 28 Louisville 21- This isn't a great UL team and UNC should win, but it won't be decided until the 4th
