Week 8 ACC Preview

1. Clemson- Tigers coming back from 35-17 deficit shows us this isn't the same Tiger team of the past 20 years

2. Virginia Tech- Hokies was down early, but came back to get a good road win in Winston Salem

3. Georgia Tech- Upset loss to Virginia hurt, but Jackets still in ACC Championship hunt

4. Florida State- Seminoles finally get a home game for the first time in over a month

5. Miami- Solid win for Canes over UNC

6. North Carolina- The Heels will try and stop the Clemson offensive machine in Death Valley

7. Virginia- Big win over Georgia Tech puts the Cavs in great position for a bowl game

8. Wake Forest- If Wake is going to make it to a bowl they have to win in Durham this week

9. Maryland- Brown gives the Terps a chance to close the season strong

10. NC State- Wolfpack had a week off to prepare for Virginia

11. Duke- Duke could be over .500 with a win over Wake Forest.

12. Boston College- BC had the week off to prepare for the beat down that Virginia Tech is about to hand them

Week 8 Predictions

Clemson 38 North Carolina 24- UNC has the defensive talent to slow Clemson down, but they can't stop the
Tigers

Virginia Tech 38 Boston College 6- ACC's worst team plays one of the ACC's best.

Wake Forest 35 Duke 27- Two of the better passing teams in the ACC meet in Durham

Florida State 31 Maryland 17- FSU's defense will do what Clemson couldn't do, figure out how to stop Brown

Virginia 28 NC State 21- Perry Jones will have a big game and the Hoos will hold on for a 4th quarter win

Georgia Tech 35 Miami 31- Probably the best game of the week ends in a shootout with the Jackets ground game leading the way to victory.
